£75 for a 9 week course

(Payable on registration ALL places MUST be booked as numbers are restricted)

Course Criteria:

• All puppies must be fully vaccinated
• All Puppies must be 6 months of age or under at commencement of course.
• Induction night on 1st week MUST be attended to ensure your place.

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Puppy Foundation Scheme aims to provide a means of socialising puppies and to lay down a foundation for education and training for both puppy and owner.

On successful completion of the course puppies will respond to their handlers and the handlers will have an awareness of the responsibilities of dog ownership. The inclusion of play exercises adds an extra dimension to a dog’s life and can be used to make
training fun.

Constructive play and suitable incentives are encouraged within this puppy training programme.

You will be taught various exercises which will include:

            Walking your dog on a lead

            Puppy Recall (getting your dog to come to you when called)

            Sit & Down exercises with STAY included

            Socialising (helping your dog to interact with other dogs and people)

Note: If possible leave your puppy at home on the induction night as this will give us the opportunity to explain the procedures, requirements and exercises in a quiet environment, allowing you to sit and enjoy our hospitality, avoiding the inevitable excitement caused when new dogs all meet for the very first time)
